Overview
Solid-state batteries have long been the missing link in making renewable energy truly viable. While many companies pursued the technology, Amptricity became the first to bring a scalable, proven solution to market. To launch this groundbreaking product, Amptricity turned to Advertas, who developed the naming, branding, and packaging while also supporting website development, pitch decks, and sales materials.

The Client
After years of R&D and overcoming significant production hurdles, Amptricity launched the world’s first commercially available solid-state battery in October 2022, offering solutions ranging from residential units to large-scale commercial and government installations.
The Challenge
As with any breakthrough technology, Amptricity faced the dual challenge of educating the market while competing against well-established providers of alternative solutions. With limited sales materials and media exposure, they needed to prove their technology’s legitimacy to skeptical customers who had seen many unfulfilled promises from competitors.
The Approach
Advertas began with a complete branding overhaul, renaming the company and its product lines after trademark conflicts arose in the UK. Beyond branding, Advertas executed a multi-faceted marketing strategy, including web design, packaging, sales materials, and product brochures.
To generate buzz, Advertas orchestrated a high-profile NASCAR activation, leveraging “The Race for Energy Independence” at premier events like the Daytona 500 and Circuit of the Americas. This was followed by a red-carpet launch event in March 2023 at the first U.S. residential installation site in Austin, Texas. The event showcased Amptricity’s solid-state battery in action, alongside a cutting-edge drone demonstration, and attracted media, investors, government officials, and NASCAR executives.
Following the launch, Advertas implemented sales processes, built the marketing tech stack, trained the direct sales force, and spearheaded reseller agreements domestically and internationally.
The Outcome
Amptricity has rapidly expanded its client base and is now securing large-scale funding to build two additional factories. While much work remains, Advertas’ strategic marketing efforts successfully propelled the company into its next phase of growth.

“Advertas was instrumental in developing our branding, helpful product sheets and pitch decks for our fundraising, as well as helping us get the most out of our marketing activities. We worked closely with them to simplify our message so that everyone, from clients to investors, could understand what we sell and the power of our technology. Thanks to their help, we’ve accomplished more than what we thought possible in a relatively short amount of time.”
