Client Story

FUELTRAX was originally designed and engineered in the field as a project for Kirby Corporation, the largest inland waterway operator in North America. Kirby wanted a bespoke system to measure fuel consumption on inland push boats and approached Control Dynamics International (CDI), an engineering company that specialized in offshore automation and control systems. The onboard and cloud-based hybrid system offers secure, smart monitoring with direct fuel measurements and advanced data analytics, helping customers reduce costs, ensure compliance, and enhance performance.
Advertas was retained to support the launch of the FuelTrax product, designing and implementing the new company’s branding standards, website, and marketing collateral. We also organized the company’s official product launch at the International Workboat Show, an annual event in New Orleans, and complemented the marketing program with strategy consulting.
Since those early days, FUELTRAX has grown into a market-leading electronic fuel management system, operating on vessels across the world.
